Significant Matters In Litigation

1. Cause No. 2008-00151; Sinue and Sandra Miranda Individually A/N/F Jesse Miranda vs. Bhanu LLC, et al.; In the 129th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas. Mr. Miranda was rendered unable to walk as a result of a gunshot wound he sustained during an armed robbery at the service station where he was employed.

2. Cause No. 2008-61875; Rosibel Ayala, et al. v. Dallas South West Patrol, Inc. , et al.; 113th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas. Ms. Ayala’s father, Luis Ayala, was killed while in the course and scope of his employment with Dallas South West Patrol, a non-subscriber to the Texas Workers Compensation Act.

3. Cause No. D-1-GN-09-004192; Brenton Martin v. Big Tex A/C-Austin, Inc. in the 53rd Judicial District Court of Travis County, Texas. Mr. Martin was headed south on IH-35 when he was struck head on by a vehicle operated by a Big Tex A/C employee. Mr. Martin's medical bills total approximately $500,000.00.

4. Cause No. 23761; Gregory Hardy v. Williams Logging & Tree Services, Inc. in the 278th Judicial District Court of Walker County, Texas. Mr. Hardy was struck by a truck which failed to yield the right of way and has incurred over $600,000.00 in expenses to date.

5. Cause No. 2009-09723; Vincent and Eleanor Lewis v. Heniff Transportation, et al in the 129th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas. Mr. Lewis was severely burned when a hose burst as he was unloading sulfuric acid. His medical expenses to date total approximately $350,000.
